Dude Takes Podcast
Since Middle School the three of us have been friends, we played basketball together, we visited each other all throughout college, and we all in each others weddings. We love each other, we love arguing and debating sports (and anything else) and we thought it would be a great idea to ensure we never stop arguing by creating a podcast. We truly hope you enjoy our conversations half as much as we enjoy having them.

On this episode we finish our tier list for characters from Game of Thrones seasons 1-6. This tier list includes some changes based on feedback from the last edition. How well written a character is:
Ground rules:
Character must appear in at least 10 episodes
Only using seasons 1-6 as 7 and 8 ruin so many character arcs. That can be a discussion in the future
Importance to the show does not affect characters tier rating
Likability to the viewer is not a factor
What parameters are used to determine how written a character is:
Is there a clear goal for the characters endstate or if not does the character provide value without one
Characters progression over time. Do they learn and grow or regress and does this make objective sense for what they are experiencing.
If a character has an objective in the show do they stick to it or waiver, when either occurs does it make sense or can it be argued so.
Does the characters methods for achieving goals or objectives fit the narrative of the story or does plot armor or other external factors ensure the character does so instead of creating a path for the character to achieve said objective. This can also mean if external factors do apply does the character take advantage of said factors.
